I am applying to PhD programs in Mass Communication for Fall 2010, focusing on Communication and Technology. Instead of the traditional approach to writing my admission essays, I’d like to leverage what I already know about mass communication to create the best admission essays possible. How it Works

The Goal

My goal is to have as many people edit my essays as possible, from myriad locales and backgrounds, resulting in powerful essays that best showcase my unique experiences, academic potential, and passion for the field. As part of the essays, I will describe this innovative, collaborative editing process.

The Result

  1. Submit a-m-a-z-i-n-g essays, edited by people from all over the country. Quality and quantity.
  2. Show my passion for Communication by using its tools to create my application. It’s like submitting an art sample to get into art school. It’s show and tell.
  3. Stand out from the crowd so I will be accepted!
